Job Overview
This role involves designing and implementing agricultural technology solutions to optimize crop yields while minimizing environmental impact. The position requires collaboration with local farmers, research institutions, and tech developers to create scalable agri-tech innovations. Candidates will contribute to South Africa’s agricultural transformation through data-driven farming techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy precision agriculture tools using IoT and AI technologies
- Conduct field trials for drought-resistant crop varieties
- Implement smart irrigation systems with real-time soil monitoring
- Train farmers on sustainable agricultural practices
- Analyze agricultural data to improve productivity metrics
Required Skills

Education

Salary
35,000 – 45,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and technical expertise.
