Key Responsibilities

• Prepare formal valuation reports in compliance with international valuation standards and company policies.

• Assist in due diligence processes for potential property acquisitions and disposals.

Required Skills

• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) as a Professional Valuer.
• Advanced proficiency in property valuation software, specifically Argus Enterprise and Excel.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing comprehensive reports.
• Deep understanding of the South African commercial real estate market and regulatory framework.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple valuation projects under tight deadlines.

Education

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Property Studies, BSc in Property Studies, or an equivalent tertiary qualification specializing in property valuation from a recognized institution.

Experience

A minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in commercial property valuation is required. Experience working within a corporate REIT or a major property valuation firm is highly advantageous.
