Job Overview

Hoek’s Toyota is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aftersales & Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Service Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workshop and parts sales performance, leading a team of technicians and service staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with Toyota standards.

Workshop Operations

• Coordinate and monitor daily workshop activities to ensure efficient workflow
• Conduct daily operational meetings and provide updates on client matters, warranty claims, stock levels, and performance
• Ensure booking systems and processes are followed for smooth workflow
• Review and sign off job cards for accuracy and completeness

Operational Performance

• Drive Service Centre performance, including parts and accessory sales targets
• Ensure adherence to booking systems for optimal workflow
• Lead daily team meetings, resolve challenges, and support staff performance
• Approve major repair quotations and ensure accurate costing
• Monitor stock levels, parts usage, and outstanding accounts

Team Leadership

• Manage and support Motor Technicians and Service Advisors
• Assign and prioritize daily tasks to meet productivity targets
• Provide feedback, training support, and manage attendance, leave, and overtime

Warranty Administration

• Manage and submit warranty claims accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with Toyota warranty standards
• Follow up on pending claims and resolve errors to prevent rejections

Customer Service

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Handle enquiries, technical queries, and resolve complaints effectively
• Ensure clear communication between customers and the workshop team

Administration

• Submit reports to Hoek’s Toyota and Head Office on time
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with dealership procedures
