Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainable Water Management Specialist to join our team in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, conservation, and water management, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our conservation goals.

As a Sustainable Water Management Specialist, you will work closely with our conservation team to develop and implement strategies for sustainable water management in our conservation areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable water management strategies in our conservation areas
- Conduct water quality monitoring and assessment in our conservation areas
- Collaborate with our conservation team to develop and implement conservation plans
- Provide technical support to our conservation team on water management issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other conservation organizations
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental science, conservation, and water management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement sustainable water management strategies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation, water management, or a related field
