Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Heritage Preservation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preservation and conservation of digital cultural heritage materials, including digital artifacts, documents, and multimedia content. The position requires a strong background in digital heritage, cultural heritage preservation, and digital media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preserve and conserve digital cultural heritage materials using industry-standard software and techniques
- Develop and implement digital preservation strategies and policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver digital heritage projects
- Provide training and support to staff on digital heritage preservation and conservation
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Digital Heritage or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital heritage preservation and conservation
- Strong knowledge of digital preservation software and techniques
- Excellent communication and project management skills
