Job Overview
South Africa Jobs is excited to announce a Satellite Data Analyst position in Mthatha, South Africa. This role is part of SANSA’s Earth Observation Division, supporting critical projects in satellite data analysis, climate modeling, and geospatial intelligence. The successful candidate will contribute to national and international initiatives that harness space technology for socio-economic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze satellite imagery and remote sensing data for environmental and agricultural applications
- Develop algorithms for data processing and pattern recognition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Earth observation projects
- Produce technical reports and visualizations for stakeholders
- Stay updated on advancements in satellite technology and data analytics
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or R for data analysis
