Job Overview
The Project Finance Analyst will support the structuring, evaluation, and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring robust financial models, risk assessments, and stakeholder alignment. Working closely with the Project Development, Legal, and Engineering teams, the analyst will play a pivotal role in securing financing, managing investor relations, and monitoring project performance throughout the lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for solar, wind, and hybrid renewable projects.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, including cash‑flow analysis, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning.
- Prepare investment memoranda, pitch decks, and financing proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with lenders, equity partners, and government agencies to negotiate terms and secure funding.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report variances to senior management.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, including market, regulatory, and operational uncertainties.
- Support due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with South African financial regulations and international best practices.
- Collaborate with the ESG team to integrate sustainability metrics into financial assessments.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, power purchase agreements, and project financing structures.

Education

Salary
