The Key Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a trusted auto repair and service centre seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic Technician based in Milnerton, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Diagnostics & Repairs
- Perform detailed vehicle assessments and diagnostics using modern diagnostic equipment
- Identify faults and carry out mechanical repairs on various vehicle systems
- Conduct both minor and major repairs with high accuracy
Automotive Maintenance & Servicing
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance
- Ensure all critical components are checked, tested, and functioning properly
- Perform full overhauls of vehicle components when required
Mechanical Assembly & Technical Work
- Assemble and install mechanical components according to specifications
- Work on different vehicle brands, ensuring compliance with service standards
- Maintain high-quality workmanship in all automotive repair tasks
Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately complete job cards, including repairs, parts used, and maintenance records
- Maintain proper documentation for all service and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with workshop procedures and reporting standards
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Motor Mechanic Technician with trade certification
- High school diploma with relevant technical training
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Experience working on all makes and models of vehicles
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform full vehicle overhauls and complex repairs
- Computer literacy for reporting and diagnostics
- Valid South African driver’s license

- Strong problem-solving skills in automotive diagnostics and repair
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair tasks
- Good communication and reporting skills within a workshop environment
- Technical expertise in vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair systems
