Job Overview
The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the firm’s corporate clients, focusing on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute prevention. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and licensing arrangements.
- Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management for corporate clients.
- Assist senior partners in structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions.
- Conduct legal research on South African statutes, case law, and regulatory updates to inform client strategies.
- Support dispute resolution efforts, including drafting pleadings, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing case summaries.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and timely delivery of legal solutions.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Education

Salary
