Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that service standards are consistently met and that customer discrepancies are minimized. This is achieved through accurate checking and reconciliation of invoices against purchased goods, ensuring that items correspond correctly with customer receipts to prevent losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile invoice/cash slips by counting and measuring goods
- Reconcile transfer slips with physical stock
- Verify delivery notes against goods received
- Maintain and update the error report book
- Report any discrepancies to management promptly
- Participate in perpetual stocktaking processes
- Ensure housekeeping of the work area according to company standards
- Perform additional duties as delegated by the supervisor
Requirements
- Matric or completion of 3 Intercept courses (totaling 120 credits)
- Grade C in Security
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Completion of Brights Induction (Service Excellence)
- Strong internal procedural knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility
- Capable of working both independently and within a team
- Efficient and effective task execution
- Good product and departmental knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
