Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Systems Design Engineer to join our specialized R&D team. This role is pivotal in developing the next generation of fluid power systems for our heavy-duty machinery. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex hydraulic circuits and control systems for heavy machinery using advanced CAD software.

- Select appropriate hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, and accumulators based on technical specifications.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for production and assembly.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hydraulic prototypes to ensure compliance with international safety standards.
- Analyze field data to troubleshoot and improve existing hydraulic system designs for better fuel efficiency.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and hydraulic simulation software (e.g., AMESim or MATLAB/Simulink).
- In-depth knowledge of fluid power principles, including pressure, flow, and viscosity dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to mechanical system integration.
- Excellent technical writing skills for documenting design specifications and testing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Education
A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is mandatory. Professional registration with ECSA is highly advantageous.
