Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for new bioenergy projects in the Karoo region
- Analyze biomass feedstock supply chains and conversion efficiency metrics
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize biogas purification systems
- Prepare technical reports for Department of Energy compliance submissions
- Develop sustainability impact assessments for proposed bioenergy facilities
Required Skills
- Expertise in biomass energy systems and circular economy principles
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., HOMER Pro)
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization
- Knowledge of South African renewable energy regulations
