Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Manager will lead a regional hub responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight, warehouse management, and last‑mile delivery services. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Pretoria logistics hub, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Manage a team of supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, customs requirements, and DHL’s internal policies.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and IT departments to align operational capabilities with market demand.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity, and report results to senior leadership.

  • Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint monitoring.

Education

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, with at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role. Salary
