Job Overview
The Digital Payments Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Mastercard’s digital payment solutions in South Africa, shaping product strategy, roadmap and execution to meet the evolving needs of merchants, banks and consumers. Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for digital payment solutions in South Africa.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis and stakeholder interviews to identify customer pain points and growth opportunities.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, user value and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, risk and compliance teams to deliver high‑quality product releases on schedule.
- Develop business cases, pricing models and go‑to‑market strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback and iterate to continuously improve the user experience.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, security standards and Mastercard’s global policies.
- Represent the product in internal and external forums, including partner meetings, industry conferences and customer workshops.
Required Skills
- Proven product management experience in digital payments, fintech or related technology sectors.

Education
