Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Infrastructure Technician to join our specialized operations team in Upington. This role is critical to the successful deployment and maintenance of large-scale solar and wind energy projects across the Northern Cape region. As a technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on technical upkeep, troubleshooting, and optimization of renewable energy assets. Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the site engineering team to implement technical upgrades and system optimizations.
- Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in electrical circuit testing and diagnostic equipment.

Education

Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the maintenance and repair of large-scale industrial electrical systems or renewable energy infrastructure. Previous experience in the solar or wind sector is highly advantageous.
