We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Polokwane, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all our digital products and services are accessible to people with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education technology and digital accessibility, and will be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including educators, students, and technical teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting accessibility audits of our digital products and services
- Developing and implementing accessibility strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborating with technical teams to ensure that all digital products and services are accessible to people with disabilities
- Providing training and support to educators and students on digital accessibility
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in digital accessibility and sharing knowledge with the team
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting accessibility audits of our digital products and services
- Developing and implementing accessibility strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Required Skills
- Strong background in education technology and digital accessibility
- Experience of conducting accessibility audits and developing accessibility strategies
- Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including educators, students, and technical teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital accessibility
Education
We are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree in Education Technology or a related field. A Ph.D. in Education Technology or a related field would be an advantage.
Experience
We are looking for a candidate with 5-7 years of experience in education technology and digital accessibility. Experience of working in a similar role in a similar industry would be an advantage.
Salary
The salary for this position is R 80,000 – R 120,000 per annum.
