Job Overview

The Risk Management Analyst will join the Johannesburg Risk Management hub, supporting the development, monitoring, and reporting of credit and market risk metrics. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse credit portfolios and market exposures to identify emerging risk trends.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly risk reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and validation of risk models and stress‑testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure risk policies are consistently applied.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the bank’s risk profile.
• Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Participate in ad‑hoc risk projects and data‑driven initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and statistical tools.
• Experience using risk management software such as SAS, R, or Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings clearly.

Education

Salary
