Job Description

The Service Ambassador is responsible for creating positive and engaging member experiences from entry to exit within the club. The role combines front desk operations, customer relationship management, digital member engagement, safety monitoring, and member support to improve customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Successful candidates will interact daily with members, resolve concerns, support exercise safety, and encourage participation in fitness programs and wellness initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Front of House & Reception Services

  • Control and monitor access into club facilities.
  • Welcome members and visitors professionally.
  • Provide clear information to members, guests, and staff.
  • Ensure smooth front desk and reception operations.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and compliance with club procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding member experiences from entry to exit.

Member Engagement & Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer experience and member satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with members to support retention and loyalty.

Education Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent
  • Successful completion of the Reception Academy

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a face-to-face customer service or customer-facing role
