Accountable for the effective operation during the fabrication of wind tower sections. This was a DCD Initiative to assist with the improvement of power supply in South Africa. Guaranteed OEM compliance across all phases of wind tower section fabrication, including material, welding, and dimensional tolerances. Led recruitment and deployment of skilled personnel to match project requirements, ensuring optimal team capability and performance. E.g. NDT skills did not meet OEM requirements and in-house training had to be implemented. Responsible for the implementation and certification of ISO 9001 and ISO 3834.
