ABSA (2021): Verified chiller manager controller performance against CIBSE commissioning principles by completing point-to-point checks and analysing control-sequence performance over time to support reliable system operation. *ABSA Data Centre (2021/22): Commissioned the BMS and EMS upgrade at the Samrand data centre, supporting improved infrastructure monitoring and operational control. * ABSA 270 Republic (2022–2024): Supported refurbishment readiness and compliance by commissioning HVAC, electrical, fire detection, fire suppression, and BMS systems in line with ASHRAE guidelines. *Balwin Head Office (2022): Enabled operational handover of a refurbished commercial building by commissioning HVAC, electrical, fire detection, and BMS systems in line with CIBSE guidelines. *Rack Centre, Lagos, Nigeria ( 2024-2025): Improved commissioning governance and delivery control as Commissioning Manager by developing the BlueRithm commissioning platform, managing issue trackers, and maintaining structured documentation control. * Equinix LG03, Lagos, Nigeria (2023-2026): Strengthened Levels 1 and 2 commissioning coordination as Commissioning Manager by managing RAMS reviews, developing the Cx Alloy platform, maintaining commissioning schedules, and leading meetings, documentation, and reporting. *South African Reserve Bank (2023-2026)– Cash Centre BMS Upgrade (2022–2026): Developed the design, scope of work, and bill of quantities for a major BMS upgrade, enhancing network infrastructure, controls, and monitoring to support condition- and reliability-based maintenance.

* Drove energy and water performance across a portfolio of 18 campuses and one minicampus, improving portfolio-wide visibility, governance, and operational accountability. * Established 11 operational building standards for Nedbank’s property management division, strengthening internal environmental quality, operational consistency, and sustainable campus design. * Instituted standards covering lighting comfort and specifications – LED, Lux levels, glare factors; HVAC performance and maintenance – comfort, air quality; BMS monitoring standards across various building services; Legionella mitigation within water systems; green cleaning materials; and electrical meter specification and energy monitoring. * These standards became foundational to Nedbank’s operational practices and new campus design and supported accreditation under the GBCSA Existing Building Performance Rating Tool process. * Contributed to the successful delivery of nine campuses and mini-campuses as part of a cross-functional engineering team, supporting Nedbank’s Green Star building objectives through collaboration with architects, engineers, and consultants. * Managed an annual R20 million energy-efficiency and BMS programme, guiding projects from business case and approval through design, scope of work, bills of quantities, tendering, and project management. * Implemented chilled water system optimisation through pump-VSD integration. * Spearheaded energy-efficient lighting design using Relux software and identified and sourced LED fittings based on key performance parameters. * Restored chiller COP rating through additives based on test results completed during a pilot phase. * Initiated the implementation of 3 rooftop PV systems with capacities of 200 kW, 300 kW, and 60 kW, covering design specifications, tender documentation, tender adjudication, project management, and budget control. * Implemented water-storage systems across 5 campuses, strengthening campus-level water resilience during the Western Cape (Day Zero) water shortage. * Developed and implemented a rainwater catchment system at Durban Campus, including system design, tender process, and project management. * Initiated and implemented HVAC control optimisation with fresh air control via CO2 sensors. * Implemented granular energy metering across seven campuses as part of the Central Building Management Platform programme, enhancing measurement visibility and performance tracking across the campus portfolio. * Strengthened BMS implementation governance by developing guidelines for the Central Building Management Platform. * Specified and implemented BMS back-end infrastructure upgrades across five campuses to meet BMS monitoring standards and ideal-point-list requirements during the first phase of the CBMP. * Drafted the front-end technical specification document used in the tender process. *Managed operational performance across a 300-hectare estate, overseeing day-to-day estate maintenance, environmental management, and water-services operations. * Maintained natural grassland assets (70 hectors) through invasive vegetation control and fire-management practices. * Sustained landscaped gardens through structured maintenance and renewal programmes. * Operated the water purification plant to support potable water production aligned with Blue Drop management processes. *Oversaw wastewater treatment operations to support compliant effluent treatment aligned with Green Drop management processes. *Formalised potable water governance by developing operational guidelines and a WHO-aligned Water Safety Plan, supporting an operating programme that was independently audited annually. * Improved water-treatment resilience by contributing to system design upgrades required to address reduced water quality linked to acid-mine drainage. * Led wastewater treatment plant upgrade design to accommodate influent levels and improve final effluent quality. * Achieved Green Drop accreditation by establishing formal operational management guidelines and a Risk Abatement Plan for the wastewater treatment plant, contributing to recognition as one of the first privately operated plants to achieve Green Drop accreditation. Operations were subsequently audited annually by an independent consultant. *Was selected Nedbank top achiever for my role in 2011. * Progressed to Energy and Water Manager following demonstrated success in analysing, developing, and implementing operational structures across estate, water, and wastewater operations.
