Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our sustainability initiatives and developing strategies to reduce our environmental impact.
The Sustainability Manager will work closely with our team to develop and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of our organization, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce our environmental impact
- Lead our team in implementing sustainable practices across all aspects of our organization
- Conduct regular environmental audits to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
- Manage our supply chain to ensure that all materials and services are sourced sustainably
- Develop and implement waste reduction and recycling programs
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement sustainable transportation options
Required Skills
- 8-12 years of experience in sustainability or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
