Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer smart water networks incorporating sensors, SCADA systems, and cloud‑based analytics platforms.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments for water infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, data scientists, and field technicians to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in water distribution modeling tools (e.g., EPANET, WaterGEMS) and IoT platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA, and data communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT).
  • Experience with data analytics languages such as Python or R, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills for client presentations and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Project management experience, including budgeting and scheduling.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in water resources management, IoT, or data analytics are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.

Experience

Applicants should have 5‑7 years of relevant experience in water infrastructure design, smart utility solutions, or related engineering roles. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects from concept through delivery is essential.

Salary
