Job Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will lead Vodacom’s compliance initiatives within the Kroonstad region, ensuring adherence to all applicable telecommunications regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive regulatory compliance frameworks aligned with South African telecommunications laws.
  • Monitor changes in legislation, standards, and industry best practices, and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that network deployments, product launches, and service modifications meet regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings, licenses, and audit documentation to ICASA and other relevant authorities.

  • Maintain a compliance risk register and report key metrics to senior management.

  • In‑depth knowledge of South African telecommunications regulations and licensing processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and interacting with regulators.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or similar are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of five to seven years of experience in regulatory compliance within the telecommunications or related technology sector. Prior experience liaising with ICASA or similar regulatory bodies is highly preferred.

Salary
