Job Overview

The Network Planning Manager will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of Vodacom’s radio access network (RAN) and core infrastructure in the Port Elizabeth region. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead feasibility studies, site acquisition, and radio frequency (RF) design for new cell sites and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to perform drive‑tests, coverage analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with South African telecommunications regulations and spectrum licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to evaluate equipment specifications, technology roadmaps, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

Education
