Job Overview
We’re looking for a Digital Accessibility Consultant to join our team in Mthatha, South Africa. As a Digital Accessibility Consultant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our digital products and services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities.
You’ll work closely with our product development team to identify and address accessibility issues, and you’ll provide guidance and support to ensure that our digital products meet the highest standards of accessibility.
You’ll also be responsible for conducting accessibility audits and providing recommendations for improvement, and you’ll work with our stakeholders to ensure that accessibility is integrated into our product development process.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in digital accessibility, and experience working with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1. You’ll need to have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility audits and provide recommendations for improvement
- Work with product development team to identify and address accessibility issues
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that digital products meet the highest standards of accessibility
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that accessibility is integrated into product development process
- Develop and implement accessibility strategies and plans
- Monitor and report on accessibility metrics and key performance indicators
Required Skills
- Strong background in digital accessibility
- Experience working with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
