Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive retail sales performance and product profitability within assigned sections
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and merchandising plans
- Support revenue growth through customer engagement and upselling techniques
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage inventory control, stock levels, and product replenishment
- Ensure accurate stock records and efficient inventory tracking systems
- Monitor product availability to support continuous retail operations
Customer Service & Client Engagement
- Deliver exceptional customer service in an agricultural retail environment
- Assist customers with product selection, inquiries, and purchases
- Build strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
Store Administration & Operations
- Handle administrative duties, sales reporting, and store documentation
- Support daily store operations and branch activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and retail procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Strong interest in retail sales, agribusiness, or agricultural products
- Basic computer literacy for sales systems and administrative tasks
Key Skills & Competencies
- Sales orientation and customer-focused retail approach
- Strong planning, negotiation, and sales strategy execution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Knowledge of agricultural products, farming supplies, or retail merchandising (advantage)
- Ability to manage stock, sales, and store operations efficiently
