Job Description

Rondebosch High School is hiring a Teacher to deliver high-quality education in Cape Town. The candidate will develop lessons, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment.

Teachers are expected to engage students creatively, integrate digital learning tools, and contribute to overall academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons and instructional activities.

Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and assessments.

Support students with academic mentoring and individualized guidance.

Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Use digital education tools and technology in teaching.

Participate in school events, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.

Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum development and school programs.

Encourage student participation in co-curricular and enrichment activities.

Prepare academic reports and feedback for students and parents.

Promote critical thinking, creativity, and holistic development.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field

3–5 years teaching experience

Knowledge of modern pedagogy, assessment methods, and classroom management

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to integrate innovative teaching methods and learning tools

Salary & Benefits

Annual Salary: Approximately ZAR 300,000 – ZAR 420,000 per year
